Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held an online meeting of the Scientific Research Accounting Unit's Board of Directors via electronic platforms, with the participation of committee members.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased noted that the committee approved the minutes of the previous meeting and discussed any new business.

El-Kased added that the committee approved the refund of tuition fees paid by some assistant faculty members registered for degrees and those enrolled for master's and doctoral degrees outside the university.

The committee also approved a request from some university faculties to enhance the research and experiments section to complete the research and experiments related to scientific research for faculty members and assistant faculty members.

During the meeting, the university president emphasized the need to follow up on the implementation of research plans within the university's faculties to address the various challenges facing Egyptian society in the economic, social, health, and environmental fields, and to activate the role of scientific research in addressing industrial and societal problems and the state's development plans.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased also directed the colleges to increase the number of applied research projects that have a real practical impact to serve the research process and students at the university, provide an attractive environment for scientific research within the colleges, and promote a culture of scientific research.
