Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, met with a delegation from Emirates NBD to discuss future cooperation between the university and the bank. The meeting was attended by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University, and Ms. Souad Bayoumi, Head of the Central Administration of the University President's Office.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased emphasized that this meeting is part of the university's role in affirming its commitment to the financial inclusion policies pursued by the state under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased praised Emirates NBD for its numerous achievements in the UAE, Egypt, and many other countries over the past 50 years. He noted that Emirates NBD is a leading bank in the field of banking services. He highlighted the importance of cooperation between the bank and the university in the areas of youth and student training and community service. He noted that the university seeks, through joint cooperation with all entities in the governorate, to provide support to students and assist graduates in finding suitable employment opportunities.
The bank delegation reviewed the services it provides to individuals and youth, the training opportunities available, and the banking services available to students, employees, and faculty members at the university.
The delegation also praised the university's role as a house of expertise in the governorate and its pioneering role in advancing the surrounding community.
The bank delegation included Ashraf Anton, Head of Government Sector and Banking Strategies at Emirates NBD; Shaimaa Mohamed Ali, Customer Relations Manager for Government Agencies at the Cairo Headquarters and Emirates NBD Menoufia Branch; and Noha Abdullah, Head of the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector.
