Menoufia University President Inaugurates the Faculty of Electronic Engineering's Student Projects Exhibition and the Handicrafts and Technology Exhibition for People with Disabilities

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, today inaugurated the 14th annual exhibition of student and graduate projects at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Menoufia University, and the Handicrafts and Technology Exhibition for People with Disabilities. The exhibition includes diverse contributions from various scientific disciplines within the faculty and participating practical faculties, providing a platform for exchanging ideas and fostering a spirit of constructive competition among students. This competition will prepare them for local and international competitions that address the provision of effective solutions to environmental, industrial, agricultural, engineering, and medical sciences problems, and achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The event was attended by Dr. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President for Student Affairs and Education, Dr. Ayman Omira, Dean of the Faculty, faculty deans, and faculty members.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, inspected more than 36 diverse projects in medical specialties, including medical engineering, automation, mechatronics, and embedded technologies. The exhibition will continue.

The university president expressed his happiness with the distinguished student engineering and technology projects, emphasizing that the state and the Ministry of Higher Education are keen to launch such student exhibitions to showcase student innovations, exchange expertise between colleges and disciplines, and raise student awareness of innovation, development, and scientific and research creativity. They also encourage students to devise realistic solutions to pressing local and international problems in various industrial, agricultural, health, and water sectors, reduce environmental pollution in industries, and create a sustainable green environment.

The university president also praised the various graduation projects in the fields of atomic energy and various industries, and the development of important and diverse solutions to project-related problems through practical ideas and the presence of mock-ups or prototypes that simulate the solutions and their feasibility. He added that the university has concluded several cooperation protocols between Egyptian universities and industrial institutions, activating the role of regional alliances of Egyptian universities and the Delta University Alliance, and implementing the presidential initiative "Alliance and Development," which enjoys the support and patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. This initiative is in line with achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Egypt's Vision 2030.
