As part of the continuous follow-up of Menoufia University development projects, Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of the University, reviewed the preparation works for Menoufia National Technological University in order to assess implementation rates and ensure the readiness of the campus ahead of its official launch at the beginning of the next academic year, in accordance with the latest standards adopted for technological universities.

He affirmed that establishing the university represents a qualitative addition to the higher education system in Menoufia Governorate and comes within the framework of the state’s direction toward expanding technological universities and strengthening applied education pathways, in a way that links academic study with practical training and responds to labor market demands.

Prof. El-Kased added that the university aims to prepare graduates equipped with advanced technical and applied skills, capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in various industrial and technological sectors, thereby supporting national efforts toward sustainable development and building a knowledge- and innovation-based economy.

He explained that, in its first phase, the university will offer 16 academic programs in vital fields serving production and industrial sectors, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, agricultural manufacturing, in addition to several advanced engineering specializations.

He also noted that studies will begin in the following faculties:

• Faculty of Industrial and Energy Technology

• Faculty of Information Technology, Communications and Artificial Intelligence

• Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Food Processing

• Faculty of Pharmaceutical Industries Technology

• Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology

The University President stressed the necessity of full compliance with standard specifications in equipping laboratories and lecture halls, while providing a modern educational infrastructure based on the latest technological tools, to ensure an advanced practical learning experience for students from the first day of study ✨📘

For his part, Prof. Hatem Abdel Qader, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information and supervisor of the university’s preparation works, stated that construction and equipment works are progressing significantly, confirming that implementation is proceeding according to the approved timetable, with continued efforts to complete all facilities in preparation for operation and student admission, while adhering to quality and safety standards and providing a modern educational environment supported by advanced technologies and laboratories 🚀
