The delegation included students from the Faculties of Engineering, Electronic Engineering in Menouf, and Computers and Information. The visit comes within the university’s orientation toward supporting applied education and building students’ capabilities in modern technological fields.

The visit was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Lt. Col. Taha Salah Matar, Director of the Military Education Department at the university.

The University President emphasized that such visits represent a fundamental pillar in developing the educational system, as they provide a real-life environment for students to explore the latest technological systems and practical applications in information and communication technology, in addition to learning about data security and information management systems according to the latest global standards.

He added that the university places great importance on strengthening partnerships with major national institutions, which contributes to the exchange of expertise and opens new horizons for students. These visits, he noted, help in building well-rounded student personalities capable of analytical and creative thinking and keeping pace with the requirements of the digital age.

Prof. El-Kased further explained that Egypt is witnessing rapid digital transformation across various sectors, which requires preparing qualified graduates equipped with the necessary technical and cognitive skills. He affirmed that the university, through its educational and training plans, aims to graduate students capable of leading this transformation efficiently and contributing to achieving sustainable development goals and Egypt’s future vision.

He also pointed out that cooperation with the Armed Forces Information Systems Institute reflects the confidence of national institutions in university graduates and the university’s commitment to providing high-quality training opportunities within institutions that possess advanced technological expertise and capabilities.

For his part, Lt. Col. Taha Matar stated that the visit is part of a training activity plan aimed at strengthening students’ sense of loyalty and belonging, linking academic study with labor market requirements, and preparing cadres capable of contributing to nation-building.

The visit included 50 male and female students under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare, and Osama Daif, Director of the Leadership Preparation Department, where students were introduced to the institute’s advanced capabilities in information systems and communications.

They also praised the excellent organization and reception at the institute.

The delegation was accompanied during the visit by Eng. Mohamed Abdel-Dayem, Eng. Amani Ibrahim, as well as Asmaa El-Hady and Nadia El-Masry.
