Menoufia University President Follows Up on Final Exams Preparations at Nursing Institute in Manshiyat Sultan and Congratulates Nursing Staff on International Nurses Day

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the educational process and preparations for the end-of-year examinations at the Technical Nursing Institute in Manshiyat Sultan. He was accompanied by Dr. Hend Hassan, Director of the Institute, and faculty members.

The tour included inspection of lecture halls, classrooms, the library, educational laboratories, and simulation labs. He also followed up on practical revision sessions for Adult Nursing courses for first-year students, as well as academic guidance lectures for second-year students, as part of the institute’s preparations for final examinations.

During his meeting with students, the University President listened to their opinions and suggestions, stressing the importance of commitment and diligence during the examination period. He emphasized making full use of the educational and training resources provided by the university to build professionally competent healthcare personnel capable of assuming medical and humanitarian responsibilities. He reaffirmed that supporting and preparing students remains a top priority for the university.

He also extended his congratulations to the nursing staff and institute students on the occasion of International Nurses Day, praising the humanitarian and national role of nurses in patient care and in providing both medical and psychological support. He noted that nursing is a fundamental pillar of the healthcare system and a key partner in improving the quality of medical services.

The President commended the continuous efforts and dedication of nursing teams within university hospitals and healthcare facilities, expressing pride in the highly qualified nursing cadres who contribute effectively to enhancing medical service quality. He wished them continued success and progress in serving the nation and society.

He added that nursing institute graduates play a vital role in direct patient care through monitoring health conditions, implementing treatment plans, and providing psychological support to patients and their families. He affirmed that the specialized education they receive qualifies them to perform their mission efficiently and professionally, in addition to offering opportunities to continue their studies at faculties of nursing for bachelor’s and postgraduate degrees, opening broader horizons for career advancement.

Prof. El-Kased further emphasized the university’s commitment to developing the educational process in health institutes and faculties, continuously updating curricula in line with the latest scientific and technological advancements in nursing. He also highlighted the ongoing development of laboratories with modern equipment and training tools to prepare highly qualified nursing cadres capable of competing in local and regional labor markets.

He concluded by stating that the Technical Nursing Institute in Manshiyat Sultan is one of the distinguished educational institutions, established on an area of 900 square meters. It includes more than 10 specialized training laboratories, modern classrooms, and lecture halls, and accommodates over 2,300 students, reflecting its significant role in preparing nursing professionals to serve the healthcare sector and society.
