Yesterday, the marathon of student elections in Egyptian universities began, and the University of Menoufia witnessed a large number of students who want to fill application forms for the membership of student unions in the university.

Dr. Moawad Al-Khouli, President of the University, stressed the University's interest in student elections because it represents the legal door through which students can express their views and exercise their political rights and student activities within the limits of the university's traditions and values.

The university president added that 1050 students (699 students, 351 students) submitted to the student union elections in the university and the participation rate of theoretical college students is higher than the practical colleges. The election ends on Thursday December 14 with the election of the committee secretaries and their assistants.
