Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, in charge of running the work of Menoufia Private University, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and Academic Supervisor of the National University, and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, received members of a committee from the Ministry of Higher Education in charge of following up the services and facilities of the University.

 

El-Kased welcomed the members of the committee, which includes Dr. Muhammad Hussein Mahmoud, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs and the head of the committee, and the membership of each of: Dr. Hani Mustafa Al-Shami, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Sahar Muhammad Al-Hajjar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Nancy Abbas Al-Hefnawi, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Tanta University, Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Shaaban Al-Sayed, member of the Military Technical College, Colonel Mahmoud Sami, member of the Administrative Control Department at Menoufia National University, in order to follow up on the construction, equipment and capabilities of the university, both financially and humanly. To prepare a report on the possibility of opening new colleges and programs in the next academic year.

The university president explained that the committee was formed based on the directives of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the aim of examining the facilities and facilities of the colleges that make up the university, which is to be opened in the next academic year, to verify their efficiency and suitability to improve the performance of the educational process and scientific research, and to ensure the appropriateness of the numbers of the teaching staff. The university president accompanied the committee on an inspection tour of the private university facilities, which are located on an area of about 18 acres and include two buildings for medical sciences, two buildings for engineering sciences, the main laboratories building, the administrative building, the theater hall, and the general site. Dr. Nancy Asaad indicated that the committee reviewed the construction and finishing works, furnishings for laboratories, workshops, auditoriums and offices and the expected date for that, and reviewed the numbers of laboratories, workshops, auditoriums, lecture halls and offices and their proportionality with the numbers of students and faculty members, and reviewed the numbers of current faculty members and those to be contracted with in the period In the coming academic year, determining the maximum capacity for each college, which allows the total operation of the university for the next academic year, reviewing the academic regulations of the various colleges of the university, and reviewing the approvals of the sector committees on them.

The university president was accompanied on his tour by accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary General of the university, Dr. Ayman Abdel Hamid, engineering advisor to the university president.
