Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, held a meeting with faculty members in the Department of Animal Production, Dr. Saeed Omar, Dr. Ilham Ghoneim, Vice Dean of the College of Agriculture for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Islam Faydallah, acting head of the department, and Dr. Gamal Dr. Ragheb, Dr. Muhammad al-Khashab, Dr. Kamal Abdel-Rahman, Dr. Saeed Abdullah, Dr. Asmaa Abdullah Fathi, Dr. Osama Abu Al-Ezz, Dr. Iman Siddiq and Dr. Al-Sayed Al-Dahshan.

The university president indicated that the meeting discussed ways to upgrade the department from the technical and administrative aspects, and how to increase production in the animal production unit of meat and dairy products to contribute to providing these products to the community with high quality and reasonable prices, in addition to discussing training students on the latest animal breeding techniques, proper nutrition and treatment plans. And protection for animals according to local and international standards in livestock.
