This morning, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, inaugurated the scientific training course on "Basics of Solar Energy and Methods of Implementation", which is organized by the New and Renewable Energy Research Center in cooperation with the Maisk Energy Services Company under the supervision of Dr. Magdi Abu-Ghazala, Director of the New Energy Research Center. and renewed at the university.

 

 

Sharaf Ali stressed the need for concerted efforts to overcome the economic crises the country is going through through optimal utilization of natural resources, especially new and renewable energy, and there are great opportunities to save foreign currency through the export of electricity. All courses offered by the New and Renewable Energy Research Center.

For his part, Dr. Magdi clarified the types of renewable energy, ways of using it, how to maximize its utilization, ways to implement it as a product on the ground, and generalize the exploitation of solar energy and its use in lighting and other energy uses, adding that the training program will be completed on Thursday with a visit to Al-Rahab farm, and next week A visit to a real station will be organized for practical training.

 

Engineer Muhammad Mohi Ajlan, a member of the Board of Directors of the Energy Research Center at the university and the head of the Maysk company, completed the training day with a lecture on the challenges facing new and renewable energy, especially solar energy, pointing to the continuation of the training course for three days, during which the trainees from inside and outside the university get acquainted with the basics of energy. Solar system and how to implement it.

 

Engineer Mostafa Maghribi, Projects Manager at Maisk, concluded the first training day by explaining the types of solar energy, methods of implementing it, and the necessary procedures for converting homes and rest houses into solar energy.
