The President of Menoufia University inaugurates the Science and Engineering Exhibition "ISEF" at the Faculty of Computers and Information

Today, Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inaugurated the activities and projects of the Science and Engineering Exhibition "ISEF" for the academic year 2022-2023, which is hosted by the Faculty of Computers and Information, and includes exhibits for students in the stages of pre-university education from the age of 14 to the age of 18, which is held under the supervision of the Technology Development Center in the Directorate Education in Menoufia to choose distinguished works and projects in exhibitions, and students from the faculties of Medicine, Engineering and Computers participate in organizing it.

The university president was accompanied by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Hatem Sayed Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Fouly, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, and Dr. Magdy Matar, Vice-President of the Faculty of Science and Chairman of the Arbitration Committee and Evaluation of Student Projects

The university president explained that the total number of projects participating in the exhibition is 95 projects, with the participation of 141 students, and that the arbitration committee and evaluation of the research and projects of the local exhibition of science and engineering includes 37 professors from the deans and vice-faculties and faculty members from the faculties of medicine, engineering, science, nursing, computers and information, and specific education

During his visit to the exhibition, El-Kased  stressed the need to pay attention to scientific research. He also praised the models and projects presented to students, their ideas and innovations, and urged them to continue. He also stressed the need to help students implement new ideas that serve the community, as he listened to an explanation of students' work and urged students to put forward their ideas for discussion and request. The projects participating in the exhibition, which were displayed in three halls in the college, include research in the field of behavioral, medical, medical devices, chemistry, chemical and physical energy, environmental sciences, environmental and mechanical engineering, robotics, software programs, embedded systems, and botany.
