El-Kased welcomed the members of the council and the former presidents of the university, expressing his happiness at attending the council of the College of Engineering as his first council since he assumed the presidency of the university last January, stressing the vital role of the college in the engineering fields and that the university has proactive colleges in engineering work in all fields and projects, as well as excellence The university has experts in the Faculties of Engineering in Shebin El-Kom, Electronic Engineering, Computers, Information and Artificial Intelligence.

El-Kased also gave all his thanks and appreciation for the college's role in providing engineering consultations in the governorate's projects and for approving the governorate's engineering cadres at Menoufia University in its vital projects.

El-Kased also referred to the role of the college in achieving the goals of the presidential initiative for a decent life in cooperation with the Menoufia Governorate in implementing giant engineering projects. Universities and the exploitation of the cadres and expertise that the university possesses, which in turn contribute to reducing the financial burden on the state, stressing that the College of Engineering is one of the university's pillars in development within society.
