Menoufia University organized an expanded medical convoy to the most needy villages in Qena Governorate, Upper Egypt, under the auspices of the Prime Minister, Dr. University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Dr. Nasser Abdel Bary, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President of the University, received the specialized medical team entrusted with the work of the expanded medical convoy prior to their departure to Upper Egypt, wishing them success and success, stressing that reaching the unable patients and the most needy villages is a national duty in the first place and a medal of honor. Every loyal doctor is dedicated to his work
The convoy treated a large number of patients, in addition to performing surgical operations in the specialties of (eyes - skin - heart and blood vessels - children - brain and nerves - tracts - chest - bones - internal organs - diabetes and endocrinology - general surgery - nose and ear - gynecology Teeth - prosthetics - audiology) at the expense of the state. The convoy also distributed all medicines free of charge and implemented an awareness and educational program about breast cancer diseases and how to early detection and treatment of these diseases through specialists in Baheya Foundation, where the work of the convoy started yesterday, Thursday, corresponding to May 11 In the village of Al-Marashda, the center of the endowment, and Friday in the village of Hu, the center of Nagaa Hammadi.
The implementation of the convoy was supervised by Dr. Farid Wagdy, a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University and the supervisor of convoys at the university, in cooperation with Dr. Mohamed Shaaban, general coordinator of the convoy at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. Dr. Haitham Maimon, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Menoufia University, also supervised the preparation and supply of medicines.
