The activities of the dialogue table, to which Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, called on members of the House of Representatives and Senate in the governorate to improve the services provided by the university to the community, witnessed a great interaction on the part of the people’s representatives, who affirmed their full support for the university and its scientific, research, community and health activities and services.


El-Kased listened to the views of the deputies and their proposals for the completion of the university's projects, especially its giant project, the construction of the medical city, which is a great medical edifice that serves millions of people in the governorate and other governorates.


El-Kased expressed his thanks to the people’s deputies and their response to the invitation in their home, Menoufia University, to which they belong, indicating that the university and the governorate are able to advance its children and the hands of those who are loyal to it.


For their part, the deputies of the two councils thanked the President of Menoufia University for the kind invitation, stressing their full support for the university and their desire to participate in all the university's activities and support its various activities. Futurism 2030.


The deputies presented their proposals to support the establishment of the medical city and to achieve this achievement as soon as possible. The deputies also stressed the need to unite to achieve the best health service for the Egyptian people, which requires providing all aspects of the necessary support, as well as benefiting from the experiences of scientists, businessmen and the people of the governorate. Everywhere.


The deputies praised the idea of establishing a national institute of oncology and expanding the oncology department, which has become an urgent matter due to the spread of this disease and the large number of infected people, with the need to work to limit its spread by conducting more scientific research in this field and supporting it.


The deputies also reviewed the different visions for the completion of the medical city project and their willingness to be the first donors to start implementation immediately.


The people's representatives expressed their hope for the establishment of new faculties at the university that keep pace with labor markets at home and abroad, such as the Faculty of Space Technology, and faculties for industries such as the gold and iron industry and other strategic industries that keep pace with the development witnessed by the world.


The deputies also supported Dr. Ahmed El-Kased in his call for the need to pay attention to research projects and turn them into investment opportunities that help push the locomotive of progress, in cooperation with the industrial sector and the Investment Authority, which will benefit and contribute to increasing the university’s resources, with the need for education to match the requirements of the market and work and to contribute The university with its cadres specialized in providing a project for the complete digitization of government agencies.


During the meeting, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, reviewed the university's achievements in the education sector and Menoufia National University, noting that it is expected that next year it will start presenting 15 new programs to serve male and female students at the level of the Republic and foreign students.


Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, reviewed the university's productive projects that are implemented and assisted by the university, as part of the field training for students and within the initiative of "localization and development of handicraft industries and automatic and half-manual carpets", which seeks to provide job opportunities for graduates and seeks to export to provide foreign currency and support National economy.


Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University, stressed that the university aims to cover and meet the needs of all citizens for health care and to eliminate waiting lists because providing health care is one of the most important priorities of the state.


Dr. Ahmed El-Kased expressed his happiness with the proposals submitted, stressing that they should be taken into account and implemented if possible, stressing the need for permanent communication with the people’s representatives who are keen to serve their society and work together to improve the educational and health services provided to the Egyptian people, indicating that the university always seeks to adopt the directions of the political leadership in Paying attention to health and education as the locomotive of sustainable development.
