Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, and Ms. Mona Khairy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Aris Egypt” Factory, signed a cooperation protocol in the presence of the Vice-Presidents of Menoufia University, Dr. Sobhi Sharaf for community service and environmental development, Dr. Hazem Saleh for postgraduate studies and research, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari for education and students, and Ms. Souad Bayoumi, head of the central administration of the office. University's president.

The University President stressed that the university seeks in various ways to qualify university students and graduates for the labor market and provide training and employment opportunities in various fields. Therefore, this protocol was signed to facilitate field training for students in the context of the global development of using the Fourth Industrial Revolution and organizing training courses that develop students’ capabilities in design and manufacturing, given that Ares Egypt Factory specializes in equipping and establishing educational and research laboratories and laboratory equipment in Egypt with European specifications and technology. It has the capabilities of designing and producing metal laboratory furniture according to the nature and requirements of operating laboratory equipment in various fields, in addition to implementing applied research to develop and encourage local manufacturing.

The university president explained that the protocol stipulates that the factory will support the rehabilitation of the university’s educational and research laboratories in terms of providing relevant equipment with the latest technology and establishing laboratories in accordance with the nature and requirements of operating laboratory equipment, by providing technical consultations to set technical specifications and make the necessary designs and implement them. The factory also conducts courses. Training in design and manufacturing for students and graduates and organizing field visits to the factory. Students, through graduation projects, master’s and doctoral projects, and research projects, provide solutions to industry problems or manufacturing demands, and cooperation takes place between the university and the factory to implement research and manufacture manufacturable research results.

The protocol also stipulates that the factory will facilitate employment for graduates and sponsor employment forums organized by the university.
