Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, chaired an expanded meeting with general managers of the university's departments, faculties and institutes, in the presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Students Affairs, Dr. Ekramy Gamal, Secretary General of the University, Ms. Soad Bayoumi, Head of the Central Administration of the University President's Office, and Accountant Ashraf El-Nattat, Assistant Secretary General of the University.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed El-Qassed congratulated His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the glorious October victory.

He also congratulated the attendees on the new academic year, stressing the need for continuous development and achieving the university's strategy and the vision of the senior leadership to provide distinguished services to citizens and university employees in the fields of education, health and community service.

The university president pointed out that after the issuance of the decision of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, approving the establishment of the Oncology Institute at the university, the immediate start was made to take executive measures and approve the organizational structure of the institute from faculty members and assistant staff, as well as forming the administrative apparatus of the institute, explaining that the Oncology Institute will be a distinctive addition to the medical edifices of the university. He praised the efforts of the Ministry of Planning, the Supreme Council of Universities, the Council of Ministers, the Governor of Menoufia, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and all the efforts made to establish this institute by the university staff.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased also expressed his happiness with the start of studies this year at the Technical Institute of Nursing in the new building in the village of Manshiyat Sultan, thanking all the departments that contributed to preparing the building to receive students.

The university president also praised the role of university cities and the efforts made to receive students, noting that the report reviewed by the Supreme Council of Universities on university cities at Menoufia University was a good report.

The university president stressed his keenness to hold a periodic meeting with the general managers to discuss the current administrative conditions in the university and the mechanisms of work during the academic year, stressing the importance of the university's administrative apparatus, which is one of the most important educational institutions in the governorate, with its scientific and human capabilities and a purposeful work plan to achieve development at all levels in line with Egypt's vision towards achieving comprehensive sustainable development under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his full support for the development of university education, congratulating Dr. Ikrami Gamal, Secretary General of the University, stressing that he possesses the administrative and technical skills that qualify him for this position. The university president reviewed the most important issues that the university cares about and that are implemented institutionally, stressing the importance of everyone joining together to advance and develop them and cooperate as one working team whose goal is the public good, directing the general managers of the colleges to develop a plan for each college to advance it according to a specific timetable, and to think outside the box and innovate to develop the level of performance, and the necessity of continuous work to raise the efficiency of the various departments of the university through specialized training courses according to the needs of these departments, and the importance of working to restructure jobs according to specialization and learn about quality management systems according to international standard specifications and methods of applying them to raise awareness among the administrative apparatus, and develop the scientific research methodology in the fields of administrative development.

During the meeting, the delegate directed the necessity of preserving the university's infrastructure, making good use of facilities, preserving university furniture and educational halls, performing periodic maintenance of university facilities and utilities, rationalizing spending, not wasting university resources, and taking into account priorities and developments to achieve the public good.

The university president confirmed that the electronic payment system for university expenses is currently being activated, which contributes to facilitating administrative procedures for university students. He also stressed the need to adhere to the procedural rules followed when communicating with external parties.

The Vice Presidents of the University and the Secretary General of the University welcomed the General Managers and praised the level of performance in each sector. Each of them reviewed the progress of work in his sector and the targeted vision to achieve more accomplishments and how to overcome obstacles, stressing the need for teamwork and team spirit.

The President of the University discussed with the General Managers proposals to develop work in colleges and departments, and His Excellency listened to the different visions of the attendees, which contributes to improving administrative work within the university.
