Menoufia University won first place after defeating the Tanta University team in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in the original time for the final match that was held at Tanta University Stadium as part of the activities of the 49th Martyr Al-Rifai course for Egyptian universities.

The university participated in the course under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the general supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, Captain Yasser Jamal, Director of Sports Activity Department, and Captain Moataz Sadiq, Sports Activity Officer.

The technical staff of the team included Captain Wisal Al-Qatt, the national team official, Captain Khaled Tolba, technical director, Captain Ammar Zulfikar, the team’s coach, Captain Ali Al-Sayed Musharraf and Dr. Mustafa Al-Harraq is a physiotherapist in the presence of Captain Ayman Abdel-Qawi, the owner of the achievements of the Menoufia University team in the game of football.
