The Department of Families and Student Unions at the General Administration of Student Welfare at Menoufia University organized an educational symposium entitled Spreading the Right Thought and Fighting Extremist Thought at the Faculty of Arts.

The symposium was held under the auspices of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Welfare.

The seminar was attended by: Dr. Hassan Khattab, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Jamal Hammad, Professor of Sociology at the Faculty.

The symposium discussed negative values ​​such as atheism, the causes of its emergence and ways to address it, the impact of social networking sites on the spread of such phenomena, and the importance of the issue of awareness development and its formation among young people to confront negative phenomena on the individual and society.
