Menoufia University President Signs Cooperation Protocol with CEB to Enhance Academic Cooperation and Practical Training for Applied Health Sciences Students at Menoufia Private University

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University and Acting Vice President of Menoufia Private University, and Dr. Ayman Saleh, CEO of CEB, a leading company in applied biotechnology, signed a cooperation protocol for the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences. The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Prof. Ibrahim Hashem, Dean of the Engineering Sector; Prof. Ashraf Balbaa, Dean of the Medical Sector; Accountant Mohamed Saeed, Secretary General of Menoufia Private University; Dr. Hiam Ayad, Director of the Applied Health Sciences Program; and Dr. Hala Saeed, Program Coordinator.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased emphasized the commitment of Menoufia Private University and the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology to supporting innovation and strengthening partnerships with research and development institutions. The protocol aims to develop the educational and research process at the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences by providing advanced field training opportunities for students within the company's laboratories and supporting graduation projects and joint scientific research between the two parties.

The University President also emphasized that signing this protocol falls within the framework of the University's vision to link university education with the labor market, enhance students' practical skills in various scientific fields, provide educational services that enhance students' levels and prepare them to acquire knowledge and skills, and work to graduate specialists qualified for the local, regional, and global labor markets.

Prof. Nancy Asaad pointed out that cooperation with major national companies in the field of biotechnology contributes to the preparation of distinguished cadres in the programs of the College of Applied Health Sciences, strengthens partnerships between the University and various training centers, and encourages innovation and development in the field of biotechnology. This provides students with excellent opportunities for practical research and real employment opportunities, as well as technical and laboratory support for their experiments. It also provides an opportunity to exchange experiences between the two parties and participate in scientific meetings, conferences, and specialized workshops.

Dr. Hiam Ayad added that the collaboration between the Medical Laboratory Technology Program and this company, which specializes in training and scientific research, is an essential part of the college's vision to provide specialized training programs for students. It also offers the possibility of conducting joint applied research in the fields of genetics and advanced biotechnology, making CEB laboratories available for direct practical training on the latest equipment and technologies, and allowing students to participate in the company's projects as student research, post-graduation research, or summer training. This supports the provision of employment opportunities for graduates in prestigious positions in the future.

Dr. Ayman Saleh reviewed the educational services provided by the company and its areas of specialization, emphasizing that "Egyptian Innovators for Biotechnology" is a leading company in the production of medical reagents and molecular analyzers. It is also one of the first Egyptian companies to provide local solutions as an alternative to imports in the field of biotechnology. It is also one of the leading companies in applied biotechnology in Egypt, focusing on linking scientific research with industry by producing and developing high-quality products and services in a number of important specialized fields.
