The Ramadan tournament competitions in the football quintet (male and female), organized by the Sports Activity Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare at Menoufia University, under the slogan “Ramadan brings us together”, was launched under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and President of the Egyptian Sports Federation for Universities and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports and Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, headed by Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in cooperation with the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation.

Dr. Nancy Asaad inaugurated the course in the presence of Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Naim Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Hamdi Watout, Dr. Imad Al-Sarsi, Vice Deans of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Muhammad Shaheen, Director General of Student Welfare, Captain Yasser Jamal, Director of Sports Activity, and Captain Moataz Sadiq, Activity Officer and Captain Wessal Al-Qatt, Captain Khaled Tolba, Professor Muhammad Abu Al-Ghar and the supervisors of the participating colleges.

The results of the first day resulted in the victory of the College of Physical Education at the expense of the College of Education team with a score of 0/5 in the female competitions.

In the student competitions, the results resulted in the victory of Physical Education over the College of Computers and Information with two goals without return. The team of the College of Arts beat its counterpart, the College of Home Economics, with a score of 8/0. The College of Commerce team also won the College of Science 1/4.
