The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the president of the university inspected the facilities of the Al-Menoufia National University, which is located on the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road, the Barakat El-Sabaa Center on an area of ​​18 acres, and the cost of its construction and equipment is about 3 billion pounds. He praised the university’s scientific and laboratory equipment, stressing that this comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to increase the number of private universities in the higher education system, with the focus of study on modern sciences and advanced scientific disciplines that qualify young people for the current labor market, whether inside Egypt or abroad. outside it.

The Minister of Higher Education presented the difference between public universities and private universities and the updated educational programs that they offer to keep pace with the fourth generation and graduate students who are able to break into the labor market and take on future jobs that contribute to achieving sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030, and providing a distinguished education service with the state bearing the largest cost burden for serving the students.

The President of the University welcomed the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research on his first visit to the university, extending his sincere congratulations to him for assuming the position of Minister of Higher Education and assuming the portfolio of higher education and the important educational files it contains, including private universities, expressing his happiness with this inspection visit to Al-Menoufia National University, which has achieved a high achievement rate. In construction and equipment, thanks to the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and his provision of the necessary financial support to implement this important achievement.

Mubarak presented the history of the journey of establishing Al-Menoufia National University since it was an idea since he assumed the presidency of the university in 2018, and sent a letter to the ministry to discuss the establishment of the Al-Menoufia National University in the Tukh Tanbesha Research Unit, and the start of the work journey to achieve this important achievement that has now been achieved to start studying in it in two programs: planning and building cities The Smart College of the College of Engineering, and the Internet of Things and Big Data Analysis Program at the College of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, until all facilities and equipment are completed so that the rest of the programs continue to open.

Mubarak explained that the university is designed at the latest architectural level, and includes a main building with main offices, halls for celebrations and conferences, a theater, and the University Council Hall, and all halls are equipped with the latest technical and audio technologies, in addition to a number of facilities equipped with the latest equipment, including (Medical Sciences Building Engineering sciences building, humanities building, laboratories building), as well as a recreational area, cafeteria, and playgrounds.

The president of the university indicated that the university includes (15) colleges (medicine and surgery - dentistry and surgery - physiotherapy - pharmacy - health sciences technology - nursing - engineering - computer and artificial intelligence - basic sciences - agricultural sciences - veterinary medicine - food and food industries - Arts and Design - Humanities and Social Sciences - Economics and Business Administration) The university has a capacity of approximately 9,500 students.

The official spokesman added that the university will offer 20 programs, including (medicine and surgery - dentistry and surgery - physiotherapy - doctor of pharmacy - radiology and medical imaging - medical laboratory technology - nursing sciences, and it includes (3) tracks "the emergency nursing care track - obstetrics track."
