In the official competition for ACM-ECPC software at the level of Egyptian universities at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, where a total of 250 teams participated in the competition from all Egyptian universities affiliated with the computer sector, and this is the second level of the competition in which students are tested on Using systematic solving methods and algorithms to solve problems using computers in the least possible time and also teamwork through a team of 3 students. The competition is considered a battle of minds for Egyptian university students The qualified teams were announced at the closing ceremony of the official software competition for Egyptian university students ECPC, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Communications, representing the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Osama Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Academy, and Dr. Iman Tharwat, Head of the Computers and Artificial Intelligence Sector at the Supreme Council of Universities. Menoufia ranked tenth among the Egyptian universities, in order as follows: The Arab Academy, Cairo Branch, Faculty of Computers, Ain Shams University, GUC, AUC, Nile University, Al-Azhar University, Alexandria Engineering, Suez Canal University, and Al-Menoufia in tenth place among the universities of the computer sector to represent Egypt in the Arab Championship. The first team, winning the tenth place, was formed by Mounir Shehab, an advanced graduate student in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computers and Information, Nader Yahya Al-Arabi in the fourth year of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Moamen Zakaria in the fourth year of the Faculty of Computers and Information The second team that won the twenty-fourth place included students: Mahmoud Fayed in the fourth year of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Muhammad Taha in the third year of the Faculty of Computers and Information and Youssef Ahmed Amer in the third year of the Faculty of Computers and Information The university is preparing to participate in the Arab-African Software Championship ACPC to represent Egypt among 45 university youth teams in Sharm El-Sheikh during the month of December 2022
