His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, agreed to allocate a plot of land on an area of 200 acres in Sadat City for the Ministry of Higher Education to implement the expansions of Menoufia University under the asset transfer system for Menoufia University.
Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of Menoufia University, extends his sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for directing His Excellency to allocate this space for the benefit of Menoufia University to establish the university’s expansions, under His Excellency’s patronage of the higher education system and attention to its development, which made a huge leap and an unprecedented development towards achieving the Republic Moreover, the unlimited support provided by the political leadership to the file of higher education and scientific research, which was represented in doubling the budgets allocated to higher education during the past years, led to more construction and expansion and the creation of new scientific disciplines in all areas of university education, and the development of the performance of universities at all levels. Egypt is ranked in the world rankings.
The president of the university explained that the desert backwater, which was approved on an area of 200 acres in Sadat City, has developed a general vision for its facilities, which will include: Menoufia Technological University (with an area of 40 acres), the extension of Menoufia National University (with an area of 35 acres), and 6 specialized medical centers (with an area of 40 acres). 50 acres) includes the specialties of treating psychiatric and addictive diseases, oncology treatment and surgery, kidney diseases, urology, organ transplantation, emergency, burns, stroke, rheumatism, rehabilitation, industrial medicine, stem cell and gene therapy, other emerging centers, and new colleges according to the strategic plan (fine arts, Alsun). And any new colleges (with an area of 20 acres), educational research farms (with an area of 30 acres), in addition to service buildings.
The President of the University also extends his sincere thanks to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Minister of Health and Population, and Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for their efforts in achieving this important achievement for Menoufia University, and contributing to achieving the strategy of Menoufia University.
