Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, Menoufia University launched an awareness-raising medical convoy to Kafr Shubra Baloula in Menouf Center in cooperation with the Decent Life Initiative and Menoufia Governorate, and another awareness-raising campaign on archaeological awareness and strengthening national identity at Al-Masa’a Al-Mashkoura Military Secondary School in Shebin El-Kom, under the supervision and presence of Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President. The University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Hazem Saleh, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the university’s keenness to launch its integrated medical development and awareness convoys to the villages most in need while providing health care to those who deserve it in their places.

El-Kased pointed out that the university is keen to spread culture and health and environmental awareness among school and university students through educational seminars and meetings that aim to strengthen the national identity of young people, pointing out the importance of raising the spirit of belonging and pride in the nation’s capabilities and enhancing loyalty and belonging, noting the university’s participation in activating the national initiative. Know your country's civilization and strengthen your national identity because it has a great impact on achieving sustainable development goals and preserving our dear homeland, Egypt.

Dr. Sobhi Sharaf explained that the medical convoy examined approximately 215 patients, including 51 ophthalmology, 48 children, 27 nose and ear, 33 internal medicine, and 56 general health.

He added that the Caravan Administration organized an awareness symposium at Al-Masa’i Al-Mashkoura School under the title “Know Your Country’s Civilization and Strengthen Your National Identity” as part of the Archaeological Awareness and National Identity Enhancement Initiative, with the participation of the Ministry of Education in Menoufia.

A large number of doctors in various specialties participated in the convoy work, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Al-Nomani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Amal Shehata, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Rania Azmy, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Fouly, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Menoufia, and Dr. Khaled. Hamza, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Menoufia University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Hamdi Abdel Rahman, Director General of the General Administration for Community Service, and Hossam Abu El-Naga, Director of the University’s Convoy Department.
