Science and Technology Fair

Menoufia University participates in the Science and Technology Fair on the sidelines of the Third African Foru

Under the auspices  and supervision of Dr. Mouawad El Khouly, President of Menoufia University, the University participated in the Science and Technology Fair which was held on the sidelines of the 3rd  African Forum on Science, Technology and innovation , which was inaugurated  yesterday by President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, and organized by the Ministry of Higher Education in cooperation with the African Development Bank.

The fair was inaugurated by Dr. Khalid Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Tarek Shawki, Minister of Education and Technical Education.

Al-Khouly said that the university participated in presentations about its faculties, programs and publications, which includes the activities of the university in various fields, stressing on the importance of such fairs  to promote entrepreneurship in the fields of scientific research, technology and innovation.

The fair was attended by Dr. Ahmed Al-Kassed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, who pointed to the importance of keeping pace with the technological revolution and the importance of developing education in line with this development and encouraging scientific research which is the best investment for the modern educational process.

Dr. Osama Madani, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Media Advisor to the Rector, Dr. Osama Abdel Raouf , Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information for Community Service and Environment Development and Executive Director of the University Information center  participated in the organization and follow-up work .

The fair  included the products of a number of companies and institutions working in the field of education, technology and innovation in the African continent, and some international institutions such as UNESCO, some scientific publishing houses, a number of Egyptian universities, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and the products of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
