Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, the Department of Emergency Medicine and Critical Cases at Menoufia University won first place in the scientific competition for emergency medicine departments at the level of Egyptian universities, which was held within the activities of the Eighth International Conference on Emergency Medicine at Suez Canal University, under the auspices of Dr. Nasser Mandour, President of Canal University. Suez, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed El Sakka, Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased Ali confirmed that the Department of Emergency Medicine and Critical Cases at Menoufia University is one of the distinguished departments and includes highly skilled cadres of faculty and nursing staff.

El-Kased explained that the emergency medicine unit in university hospitals plays an important role in rescuing the injured and receiving emergency cases, a role that requires skill, accuracy and vigilance. To improve the health service provided to patients

El-Kased congratulated the team of emergency and critical cases doctors in university hospitals participating in the competition for obtaining the first place at the level of emergency medicine departments in all Egyptian universities.

Dr. Abdel-Rahman El-Sebaei, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, indicated that the team of emergency doctors at Menoufia University Hospitals participating in the competition includes Dr. Athar Lashin, Dr. Ghada Arafa, Dr. Mahmoud Tolan, Dr. Mahmoud Tariq, Dr. Mustafa Ebeid, Dr. Nermin Boutros, Dr. Ahmed Abu Shousha, Dr. Iman Suleiman.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Qarsh, Executive Director of University Hospitals, added that the department's participation in this competition comes within the framework of cooperation between the various emergency departments in Egyptian and international universities to reach the best ways to deal with crises and disasters and to provide integrated care for emergency patients.
