President of Menoufia University receives President of Fayoum University before heading to the National Liver Institute to discuss a doctoral thesis

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received Dr. Yasser Hatata, President of Fayoum University and Professor of General Surgery before heading to the National Liver Institute at the university to discuss a doctoral thesis.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development and a member of the University Council from abroad, Dr. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the National Liver Institute, Dr. Hossam El-Fel, Dean of the Oncology Institute, and Dr. Yahya Fayed, Lecturer of Surgery at the Liver Institute.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, welcomed the President of Fayoum University to Menoufia University, thanking him for his visit to the university and his participation in discussing a doctoral thesis at the National Liver Institute at the university, welcoming cooperation between the two universities in the field of research.
The President of the University reviewed some of the university's achievements and the progress it has witnessed in various educational, research and community sectors.
For his part, Dr. Yasser Hatata expressed his happiness with this meeting, praising the university's research, education and community service role, wishing the university and its leadership all the best in achieving advanced positions locally and globally.

Then, the President of Fayoum University headed to the National Liver Institute to discuss the doctoral dissertation submitted by Dr. Nour El-Hoda Hesham El-Zaqaki entitled "Total pancreatic resection during pancreaticoduodenectomy and its prognostic surgical results in pancreatic head cancer"

The discussion and supervision committee included Dr. Yasser Hatata, Professor of Surgery and President of Fayoum University, Dr. Ibrahim Abdel Qader, Dr. Amr Mustafa, Dr. Tarek Ibrahim, Dr. Mohamed Taha, Professor of Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic and Biliary Tract Surgery at the National Liver Institute, and Dr. Dina Sweid, Lecturer of Pathology at the National Liver Institute.
