Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, held a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Scientific Research Account Unit "online" via electronic platforms with the participation of committee members.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased indicated that the committee approved the minutes of the previous session and discussed any new work.
During the meeting, El-Kased stressed the need to follow up on the implementation of research plans in the university's faculties to address the various challenges facing Egyptian society in the economic, social, health and environmental fields, and to activate the role of scientific research in confronting the problems of industry and society and the state's development plans.
El-Kased also directed the faculties to increase the number of applied research projects that have an actual applied return to serve the research process and students at the university, and to provide an attractive environment for scientific research within the faculties and enhance the culture of scientific research.
El-Kased added that the committee agreed to refund the tuition fees paid by some members of the auxiliary body registered to obtain scientific degrees and registered for master's and doctoral degrees outside the university.
The committee also approved the request of some university colleges to enhance the research and experiments item to complete the research and experiments related to scientific research for faculty members and assistant staff.
