Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, visited the Monufia Diocese in Shebin El-Kom to congratulate the Copts on the occasion of Christmas, accompanied by Dr. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Nasser Abdel-Bari Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

The President of the University and the accompanying delegation were received by His Grace Bishop Benjamin, Bishop of Menoufia, and Father Paula Yacoub, Deputy Bishop.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Bishop of Menoufia, the church men and the Coptic brothers from the governorate’s citizens on the occasion of Christmas, praying to God to bring this occasion back to Egypt and its people with goodness, security, safety and stability under the wise leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and for all Egyptians to remain one fabric bound together by bonds of affection and brotherhood, stressing that the holidays of Muslims and Christians are holidays for all Egyptians, and come to consolidate brotherhood, love and coexistence among all segments of society, wishing that the homeland will always enjoy security, safety and stability. For his part, Bishop Benjamin expressed his happiness with this visit, which confirms the spirit of love among all the sons of the nation, offering thanks and appreciation to the President of Menoufia University for his keenness to visit the diocese and offer congratulations on this occasion, stressing that Menoufia University is witnessing an unprecedented urban and scientific renaissance, appreciating the efforts made to advance the university and the services it provides to the community, calling on God to bring this occasion back to our beloved Egypt and its great people with goodness, security, safety and stability.
