Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, visited the General Diwan of the Governorate today, and was received by Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, and Accountant Mohamed Moussa, Deputy Governor, as part of the mutual visits to discuss ways of joint cooperation to advance the governorate and provide the necessary support to the university to play its pivotal role in serving the community.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the importance of cooperation between the university and the governorate, noting that universities are a key partner in developing local communities, due to their scientific expertise and human resources capable of contributing to solving social and economic problems. This cooperation also allows the university to provide studies and research that contribute to developing the infrastructure and improving public services such as health and education.
El-Kased added that through joint projects between the university and the governorate, training programs can be developed that prepare students for the local labor market, thus reducing unemployment rates. The university can also, through its research centers, provide innovative solutions to various problems that the governorate may face, in addition to the services provided by the governorate to the university to implement the university's strategy that is consistent with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the goals of sustainable development, appreciating the efforts of the Governor of Menoufia in achieving comprehensive development and achieving tangible achievements and comprehensive development in all diverse fields and providing a better life for citizens according to systematic plans in line with the goals and axes of the new republic, which are primarily based on building the Egyptian person under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
The Governor of Menoufia also welcomed the President of the prestigious Menoufia University, thanking him for his constant and continuous keenness to build bridges of joint cooperation to achieve sustainable development at all levels to serve the people of the governorate, appreciating the role of the university in serving the surrounding community.
The governor stressed that the university's efforts in developing education, scientific research and community service reflect its noble mission and pioneering role in building promising generations and enhancing the path of development and renaissance, stressing his full support for strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the governorate and the university, in order to achieve the common aspirations of the two parties and serve the people of the governorate.
