El-Kased confirms the readiness of university hospitals to receive the injured from Gaza and praises the national sense of the staff of Menoufia University hospitals

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, participated in the expanded meeting held by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with medical cadres at university hospitals at the headquarters of the Faculty of Medicine at Arish University, in the presence of the presidents of Cairo, Ain Shams, Suez Canal and Arish Universities, Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, Dr. Omar Sharif, Secretary of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Anani, Minister's Advisor for Health Policies, Dr. Hossam El-Fel, Dean of the Oncology Institute at Menoufia University, Dr. Mohamed Sabry, Executive Director of Menoufia University Hospitals, and a number of directors of university hospitals and members of the Supreme Council of University Hospitals.
The envoy explained that at the beginning of the meeting, the minister congratulated the people of Gaza on his behalf and on behalf of the university presidents on the success of Egypt and international and regional partners in achieving a ceasefire, and the efforts made to achieve stability and calm in the region. The meeting also reviewed the ministry's plan to develop the medical system and expand the scope of its services, and the ministry's keenness to update the performance of university hospitals by providing intensive educational and training programs aimed at raising the skills of medical and nursing staff, in addition to providing the latest medical technologies to ensure the best treatments for patients. The minister also thanked all hospital directors for their dedication to supporting our Palestinian brothers during the past period, stressing the importance of continuing to work to expand and develop the health system through future projects and initiatives. The Minister and the university presidents discussed the plan to provide medical and health services to the people of Gaza, which includes specific stages to receive and provide the necessary care for the injured, as a large number of faculty members are currently present in coordination with the Ministry of Health in North Sinai hospitals, and they are ready to receive any cases, no matter how serious they are. University hospitals in the Canal region have also been equipped to deal with the most serious cases. The plan also includes raising the level of readiness in all university hospitals and providing a percentage of beds ready to receive the largest number of cases, and the readiness of full medical teams of faculty members in the event of the need for immediate medical intervention or providing the necessary support to hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health in North Sinai and the Canal cities. Dr. Ahmed Al-Qassed stressed during the meeting the readiness of Menoufia University Hospitals to provide all aspects of health care and effective participation in providing support and assistance to our brothers in Gaza, through its distinguished medical staff, and providing the necessary places for their companions in university cities. A comprehensive plan has also been prepared to provide all medical services to our brothers from Gaza, as this plan focuses on meeting their needs, providing them with the necessary support, and harnessing all the capabilities of university hospitals to provide the best services to the injured and wounded around the clock. The university president praised the efforts of the sons and employees of Menoufia University Hospitals to participate in providing medical support to our brothers from Gaza, and the extent of their national sense, believing in the importance of the Palestinian cause, and implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, regarding providing all forms of support to our brothers in Gaza after reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, and in solidarity with Egypt's great role in achieving peace in the Palestinian state.
