Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of the University and Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Menoufia University participated in the first comprehensive cultural symposium under the slogan "Egypt's glory is in the glory of its people" at Cairo University, which was organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, its cultural symposium, in the presence of Major General Osama Abdel Hamid Daoud, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Saeed, Vice President of Cairo University, with the participation of 8 universities

The delegation of Menoufia University included 200 male and female students and 17 male and female students from Menoufia Private University.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the university's keenness to participate in all national forums that aim to increase awareness and develop the values of loyalty and belonging among university students and to recognize the extent of achievements that call for pride and pride in the homeland.
Dr. Ahmed El-Kased explained that the symposium clarifies to the youth one of the goals of the new republic, the most important of which is building the Egyptian person, preserving his personality and identity, spreading the spirit of citizenship, instilling the spirit of loyalty and belonging, rejecting all forms of extremism and terrorism, and using reason and logic in forming the correct opinion, and not submitting to false ideas, and clarifies to the youth the challenges and constant dangers facing the Egyptian state, pointing out that Egypt's confidence in its valiant army and its people will remain steadfast.
Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari also stressed the importance of students' participation in these activities, pointing out that the university provides all means of support to participating students by providing accommodation for expatriate students, providing six buses to transport students, preparing meals for them, and a distinguished supervisory body to accompany them. He explained that the symposium included many activities, including a lecture on the geopolitical situation in the region and its impact on Egyptian national security by Dr. Nashwa Al-Hawfi, a lecture on combating terrorism and extremist thought by Dr. Taher Nasr, a theatrical performance entitled the operetta "The Spirit of October", patriotic songs, and religious chanting. The symposium was attended by Dr. Naeem Mohamed Fawzy, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, representing Menoufia University, Dr. Mohamed Zidan, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, Dr. Shaimaa Mohsen Atta from the Faculty of Specific Education, Dr. Mohamed Gamal El-Okl from the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Mohamed Alaa El-Din El-Sobky from the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Mohamed Gamil Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Student Care and Organization, headed by Colonel Ahmed Mustafa Abdullah Akid, Director of the Military Education Department at the University, and Osama Shawky Daif, Director of the Leadership Preparation Department. The delegation was supervised by Yasser Najm, Shaimaa Mahna, Enas Shawky, Wafaa Bilal, Nadia Kroush, and Nawal Hamed. During the symposium, the student Moamen Ashmawy Mohamed Khoder from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering was honored. The student won third place in the long jump at the university level for people with disabilities in Alexandria 2025, the ideal student third place at the level of Menoufia University 2025, second place in the 100m race in athletics held at Benha University 2024, third place in the university football league held at Benha University 2024, third place in the 100m and 400m races at the university level in the Martyr Rafaei Tournament for people with disabilities 2024, and third place in the long jump at the university level for people with disabilities in Alexandria 2024.
