Menoufia University students visit the 56th Cairo International Book Fair

Under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, Menoufia University organized a visit to the 56th International Book Fair, which is held under the slogan "Read in the beginning was the word" during the period from January 23 to February 5, under the supervision and attendance of Dr. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased stressed the university's keenness to pay attention to the cultural aspect of students, in addition to the academic and research path and spreading awareness and culture among students, thanking Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for his keenness to provide the opportunity for students of public and private universities and institutes to visit the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair in its 56th session and provide them with all support and comfort.

El-Kased pointed out that the university students' visit to the exhibition comes within the framework of the university's belief in the role of student activities in developing their cultural aspect and providing opportunities for cultural interaction and knowledge exchange, as students are exposed to the latest books, references and novels in various fields during visits. In addition to being an opportunity for university students to purchase new books from the exhibition, which is one of the largest book fairs in the Middle East and the world.

The envoy directed the need to provide all means of facilitation for students wishing to visit the exhibition and attend various events in order to maximize the benefit from the exhibition, which is a cultural celebration that contributes to raising awareness and culture among students.

Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari and university students inspected the Administrative Control Authority pavilion within the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair, accompanied by Hani Al-Mahdi, Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, in order to raise awareness and enhance belonging among university students.

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased explained that the participation of the Administrative Control Authority in the exhibition comes within the framework of the role it plays in raising awareness of the dangers of corruption and urging citizens to fight corruption in all its forms, and to consolidate the values ​​of integrity and transparency and achieve justice in government institutions, in order to achieve the goals of the National Strategy to Combat Corruption, which aims to build a society aware of the dangers of corruption and capable of combating it.

Dr. Nasser Abdel Bari also pointed out that the participation of Menoufia University students in this visit comes within the framework of the university's keenness to support student activities and link its students to national issues, praising the role played by the Administrative Control Authority in promoting the values ​​of integrity and transparency and supporting the efforts of the Egyptian state in combating corruption, explaining that the Authority's pavilion includes a display of the activities of the National Academy for Combating Corruption and its training programs and how to register in it, with the presence of publications of some scientific theses and research related to the Authority's field of work.

The visit of Menoufia University students to the exhibition came under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration of Student Care at the University.
