Dr. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, stressed during a journalistic investigation published in Al-Ahram newspaper and its website today, Tuesday, February 11, the importance of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank for students and researchers, noting that the bank is an ambitious project that provides an unprecedented opportunity for researchers and students to view the latest research and scientific sources for free, thanks to the participation of major international publishing houses in it, and is an invaluable scientific wealth, as it reflects the state's belief in the importance of education and scientific research, as it was established at a huge cost and made available for free to all beneficiaries.
He explained that the benefit from it is not limited to researchers and faculty members only, but extends to include all citizens, as anyone can create an account and access the available content, noting that the university organizes ongoing workshops and training courses for students, researchers and faculty members, to familiarize them with how to deal with the platform and benefit from it in the best way.
Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of the University, also stressed that the Egyptian Knowledge Bank represents a global library available to all researchers and students, which contributes to facilitating access to knowledge sources without the need to travel abroad and incur exorbitant costs, explaining that all scientific journals and periodicals of the university have been uploaded to the Knowledge Bank, according to specific terms and conditions, which enhances the opportunities for publishing research and making it available on a global scale, and supports the university's efforts to improve its international classification.
