Menoufia University Ranked First in Annual Scouting Training Centers Evaluation at Egyptian Universities

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced that the Menoufia University Scouting Training Center achieved first place in the annual evaluation of scout training centers at Egyptian universities. The event was held at the closing meeting of the Egyptian University Scouts, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports at the Abu Qir Youth City, under the supervision of Prof. Nasser Abdel Bary, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased congratulated the university team for winning first place, noting that the university supports student activities in all their forms and encourages students to develop their talents. This aims to prepare generations capable of innovation and creativity, and to graduate a generation of young people capable of shaping the future. He emphasized that the political leadership and the Ministry of Higher Education pay great attention to student activities at universities.

El-Kased also emphasized the university's commitment to supporting all outstanding and talented students in various fields and student activities, in an effort to graduate young cadres capable of achieving its goals. He explained that student participation in activities plays an effective role in building their personalities and opens up creative paths for them, whether academic or professional. Artistic or cultural, through which the university seeks to change students' ways of thinking and apply them in daily life.

Prof. Nasser Abdel Bari pointed out that the closing forum for the activities of the Scout Training Centers at Egyptian universities aims to enhance the role of the Scout Movement within Egyptian universities and to identify the extent to which young people are qualified and developed in their scouting and life skills. It also aims to promote loyalty and belonging to the homeland and instill the values ​​of peace and love among participants. This is achieved through a variety of competitive and interactive activities, including religious competitions, sports competitions, artistic competitions, camping, and outdoor activities.

The forum's results also resulted in Commander Ahmed Ali Abdel Halim receiving the title of the ideal leader of the forum; Rover Shahd Shawqi of the Faculty of Commerce received the title of ideal companion of the forum; and Rover Khaled Mohamed Shaheen received the title of ideal Rover of the delegation.

The university team was supervised by Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Director General of the General Administration for Student Care; Dr. Walid Hussein Talaat, Director of the Rover and Public Service Department; Commander Tarek Fouad Arafa, Head of the Training Office; and Commander Hassan Youssef, member of the Training Office.
