Menoufia University President Attends Faculty of Dentistry's Orphan Day Celebration

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, attended the Faculty of Dentistry's Orphan Day celebration, with the participation of more than 120 children from orphanages and people with disabilities in the governorate. The celebration was accompanied by Prof. Sobhi Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Salah Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Farid Wagdy, Vice Dean for Community Service, and Prof. Rana El-Helbawy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

During the celebration, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased welcomed the children to the Faculty of Dentistry, expressing his happiness at meeting them and their presence at the university. He emphasized the university's constant readiness to provide them with full support and care, medically, socially, and educationally.

The University President emphasized that the Faculty of Dentistry is ready to receive orphans throughout the year for free medical examinations and dental treatment, in addition to providing free medical examinations and monitoring of the children's health through university hospitals.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased added that the Faculty of Dentistry has been successfully serving the community since its inception. It has worked to raise awareness in the surrounding community and spread the culture of oral and dental care, in addition to providing free medical services to the governorate's residents through outpatient clinics equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment methods.

Prof. Sobhi Sharaf noted that the celebration included organizing a free dental checkup for children and a fun day for children, during which sweets and toys were distributed.

He noted that during its Orphan Day celebration in April, the university created savings books for orphans worth EGP 250,000.

For his part, Prof. Salah Hegazy welcomed the faculty guests and orphans, emphasizing that the faculty always welcomes them for free checkups and treatment. He thanked all those who participated in organizing this day, including faculty members, the Community Service Sector, the Faculty's Youth Care Department, and the orphanages.

Prof. Farid Wagdy added that the faculty's organization of the Orphan Day celebration falls within the framework of the faculty's role in serving the community. He noted that the faculty has participated in numerous integrated convoys across the university, in addition to organizing awareness seminars to spread the culture of oral and dental care.
