Professor Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, announced the appointment of a number of new administrative leaders across the university’s sectors and faculties. The appointments followed the work of the Selection Committee and personal interviews, conducted in accordance with rigorous standards of integrity, transparency, and competence. He confirmed that this step reflects the university’s commitment to selecting capable leaders who can meet the demands of the current phase, as the university takes ambitious strides in development aligned with the national strategy for education and students and with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for achieving sustainable development goals.
The President explained that the selection process was based on objective criteria, including professional experience, the ability to innovate and lead development, sound management of human and financial resources, and adherence to the regulations governing university work. He noted that the appointment of new general directors was carried out under a clear plan to strengthen institutional performance.
Professor El-Kased stressed that the administrative body is the backbone of the university and a cornerstone of the success of its educational and research system. It manages operations, facilitates procedures, and provides direct support to students and faculty members, while also contributing to the implementation of the university’s strategic plans and the realization of its future vision.
He further highlighted the university administration’s focus on qualifying and training administrative staff in line with the latest administrative and digital systems, consistent with the state’s direction towards digital transformation and the building of smart institutions capable of providing high-quality, efficient services. He underlined that the university continually works to improve the work environment and to motivate staff toward innovation and excellence, based on the belief that distinguished administration is the foundation of success.
The President added that the appointment of new administrative leaders represents an important step in enhancing administrative efficiency and opening opportunities for young leaders to assume influential decision-making positions, ensuring continuity of progress and renewal within the university. He emphasized that the university prioritizes promoting principles of good governance, transparency, and accountability in administration, to ensure institutional discipline and improve overall performance.
