Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, has issued a number of important decisions regarding the appointment and renewal of mandates for heads of academic departments in several faculties, in addition to assigning an administrative leadership position. These decisions come within the framework of the University’s commitment to supporting the academic and administrative work system and ensuring the regularity of the educational process in accordance with governing laws and regulations.

The President of the University emphasized that these decisions are part of Menoufia University’s strategy to support academic and administrative leadership with distinguished and qualified personnel, contributing to the development of institutional performance and the achievement of the University’s educational, research, and community service objectives. He wished all newly appointed and renewed leaders success in carrying out their responsibilities.

The decisions included the following:

• Appointment of Dr. Elham Amin Mohamed El-Denn, Professor in the Department of Dairy Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, as Head of the Department Council, effective from the date of the decision, until any change occurs in the number of professors in the department, in accordance with Article (40) of the Executive Regulations of the Universities Organization Law.

• Renewal of the appointment of Dr. Islam Ghallab Ibrahim Dodo, Professor in the Department of Sports Administration and Recreation, Faculty of Sports Sciences, as Head of the Department Council, effective from 15 December 2025.

• Appointment of Dr. Hamdy Ahmed El-Sayed Watout, Professor in the Department of Theories and Applications of Exercises, Gymnastics, and Sports Shows, Faculty of Sports Sciences, as Head of the Department Council, effective from the date of the decision for a period of three years, or until any change occurs in the number of professors in the department, in accordance with the Executive Regulations of the Universities Organization Law.

• Appointment of Dr. Dina Shaker Mohamed Addas, Professor in the Department of Music Education, Faculty of Specific Education, as Head of the Department Council, effective from 19 December 2025, for a period of three years.

• Appointment of Dr. Yasser Maimoun Abbas Ahmed, Professor in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Faculty of Specific Education, as Head of the Department Council, effective from the date of the decision until reaching retirement age.

• Assignment of Dr. Howaida Mohamed Reda El-Dorr, Associate Professor in the Department of Radio and Television, Faculty of Mass Communication, to act as Head of the Department Council, effective from the date of the decision, until a professor is appointed in the department, in accordance with Paragraph Three of Article (56) of the Universities Organization Law.

On the administrative level, the decisions also included:

• Assignment of Eng. Amr Fahmy Sayed Ahmed Haidar, Senior Mechanical Engineer (First Specialized Grade), Faculty of Engineering, to manage the Welding and Metal Works Unit at the General Administration of Workshops and Transportation Operation, and to act as Director General of the General Administration of Workshops and Transportation Operation at the University, within the senior management positions group, effective from the date of the decision.

In this context, Ms. Souad Bayoumi, Secretary General of the University, extended her congratulations to all those included in the appointment and renewal decisions from both academic and administrative leadership, wishing them success in their new duties in a manner that serves the interests of Menoufia University and supports its institutional development process.

She further affirmed that the University’s administrative body continues to work in a spirit of teamwork, in implementation of the directives of Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of the University, and in support of achieving the University’s objectives, wishing continued success and progress for all.
