Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, convened a meeting of the University Facilities Committee in the presence of the University Vice Presidents: Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ghada Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Mrs. Soaad Bayoumi, Secretary-General of the University. The meeting aimed to follow up on the executive status of construction and development projects currently being implemented across the university’s various faculties and sectors, within the framework of the university’s commitment to supporting infrastructure and providing an advanced educational and research environment.
During the meeting, the University President reviewed reports submitted by Eng. Randa Fawzy, Director General of Engineering Affairs, regarding implementation percentages and achievement rates for several projects. He emphasized the importance of adhering to approved timelines, overcoming any obstacles that may hinder implementation, and strictly applying quality and safety standards in all construction works, ensuring optimal use of resources and supporting the educational process.
Prof. El-Kased also stressed the necessity of coordination among the relevant authorities to address any challenges that may impede workflow, in order to ensure timely completion and maximize the benefits of the projects in support of the educational and research process and the development of the university’s infrastructure.
On the sidelines of the committee meeting, Prof. Ahmed El-Kased honored Mr. Ashraf El-Nattat, Assistant Secretary-General of the University, on the occasion of reaching retirement age, in appreciation of his dedication and contributions throughout his years of service at the university. His professional career was marked by sincerity, commitment, and devotion in carrying out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to him.
The University President expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation, praising his effective role in supporting the administrative work system and affirming that the university does not forget its loyal members who have contributed to developing institutional performance and achieving administrative stability.
For his part, the Assistant Secretary-General expressed his happiness with this recognition, extending his gratitude to the University President and leadership, affirming his pride in working at Menoufia University, and wishing the university continued progress and success.
The meeting was attended by the Deans of the Faculties of Engineering, Specific Education, Medicine, and Agriculture; representatives of the Oncology Institute; the Engineering Advisor to the University President; Assistant Secretaries; the Director of the Engineering Consultancy Center; Heads of the Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering Departments; and Directors General of Engineering Affairs, Maintenance, Strategy, Legal Affairs, Procurement, and Financial Affairs.
