President of Menoufia University Inspects Outpatient Clinics at University Hospitals and Affirms: Enhancing Medical Services and Facilitating Procedures Is a Top Priority

Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, conducted a field inspection tour of the outpatient clinics at the university hospitals as part of his commitment to continuous monitoring of workflow, ensuring the quality of medical services provided to patients, and supporting the operational system within the university hospitals in line with the highest standards of quality and healthcare.

Accompanying the University President during the tour were Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bary, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. They were received by Prof. Mohamed Fahmy El-Nemrani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Hospitals; Prof. Mohamed Sabry Ammar, Executive Director of the University Hospitals; Prof. Sami El-Dahdouh, Deputy Executive Director and Director General of the University Hospitals; Prof. Alaa Effat, Director of the Main Hospital and Deputy Executive Director; Prof. Haitham Badr, Director of the Specialized Hospital and General Supervisor of the Outpatient Clinics; Prof. Ahmed Zareef, Director of Intensive Care Units; and Prof. Mostafa Makram, Director of Specialized Clinics.

The tour included an inspection of the outpatient clinics building, during which the University President reviewed workflow mechanisms, patient reception systems, and the level of services provided.

Prof. El-Kased directed that procedures for patients and their companions be facilitated, waiting times reduced, and full compliance with the regulations governing work ensured. He stressed the importance of treating patients and their families with respect and dignity, and of intensifying administrative and medical presence within the clinics to guarantee the delivery of high-quality medical services that reflect the university’s role and community mission.

The University President also inspected the CT scanner, ensuring its operational efficiency and readiness to receive cases. He emphasized the importance of regular maintenance and optimal operation of modern medical equipment, given their pivotal role in ensuring rapid and accurate diagnosis and improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients.

During the tour, Prof. Mohamed Fahmy El-Nemrani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, expressed his sincere appreciation to the University President for his continuous support and keen interest in on-site follow-up of all medical facilities. He affirmed that this support serves as a strong motivation to enhance performance and elevate the level of healthcare services, contributing to overcoming challenges and supporting comprehensive development plans at the university hospitals.

For his part, Prof. Mohamed Sabry Ammar, Executive Director of the University Hospitals, stated that the field visits conducted by the University President reflect the university leadership’s strong interest in developing the healthcare system. He noted that the President’s directives directly contribute to improving the work environment and facilitating procedures for patients and their companions. He added that the university hospitals’ management is working according to an integrated plan to implement these directives, ensuring improved performance efficiency and achieving the highest levels of quality in the medical services provided.
