President of Menoufia University and Governor Inspect Military Education Courses at Menoufia National University

Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University and Acting President of Menoufia National University, accompanied by Major General Ibrahim Abu Leimoon, Governor of Menoufia, and Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Academic Affairs, conducted an inspection tour at Menoufia National University to monitor the progress of military education courses for male and female students.

The tour aimed to ensure proper discipline, organization, and adherence to training schedules. The inspection was also attended by Mohamed Mousa, Deputy Governor, and Brigadier Mohamed Gaafar, Military Advisor to the Governorate. They were welcomed by Dr. Ibrahim Hashem, Dean of the Engineering Sector, Dr. Ashraf Belba, Dean of the Medical Sector, Mohamed Saeed, University Secretary-General, and program directors.

During the visit, the delegation toured classrooms and training halls, reviewed the implementation plans of the program, and received detailed briefings on attendance, compliance, and overall training operations, ensuring that the courses achieve their educational and national objectives.

Dr. El-Kased emphasized that military education courses are a fundamental pillar in shaping the university student’s character, stressing that these courses are not merely an academic requirement, but an integrated program aimed at instilling national awareness, discipline, responsibility, and teamwork, preparing a generation capable of facing challenges and contributing effectively to national development.

He also highlighted that Menoufia National University is committed to implementing these courses according to the highest standards of organization and discipline, reflecting the University’s educational, academic, and national role in preparing well-rounded students capable of serving society and the state.

Major General Ibrahim Abu Leimoon, Governor of Menoufia, affirmed that youth are the true wealth of the nation, and that investing in their awareness and discipline is key to building the “New Republic.” He praised the organization and adherence observed at the university, noting that the coordination between state institutions, particularly universities, is essential to supporting development efforts and securing a better future for the country’s youth.

During the tour, the President and Governor engaged in an open dialogue with students, discussing the importance of military education courses, their role in developing responsible citizens, and listening to students’ questions and suggestions. The session included participation from Colonel Mahmoud Fawzy and Lieutenant Colonel Wael Salam, course supervisors, underscoring the state institutions’ commitment to direct communication with youth and responding to their input.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. El-Kased extended his appreciation to all organizers of the military education courses, commending the students for their punctual attendance, adherence to the uniform code, and disciplined participation.
