Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, has issued official appointments for several department heads in the Faculties of Medicine and Science. The appointments aim to support the academic system and enhance the efficiency of teaching and research across the University’s faculties.

Dr. El-Kased emphasized that these decisions reflect the University’s commitment to placing distinguished scientific talents in academic leadership positions, thereby contributing to the development of the educational process, supporting research, and achieving the University’s strategic objectives.

He noted that department heads are a fundamental pillar of the university system, playing a central role in raising academic standards and ensuring institutional discipline within their respective departments.

The President congratulated the newly appointed heads, wishing them continued success and affirming his confidence in their ability to fulfill their responsibilities in a manner that serves the University’s educational and societal mission.

The appointments include:

• Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Moneim El-Shehat, Professor of Urology, Faculty of Medicine – appointed Head of the Department Council for a three-year term.

• Dr. Safinaz Hamdy Mohamed El-Demerdash, Professor of Chemistry, Faculty of Science – appointed Head of the Department Council for a three-year term.

• Dr. Talaat El-Sayed Ali El-Danaf, Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Science – appointed Head of the Department Council until reaching the official retirement age.

Ms. Souad Bayoumi, Secretary General of Menoufia University, noted that the University Secretariat is committed to completing all administrative and regulatory procedures related to these appointments in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations, ensuring smooth workflow and rapid implementation of the decisions.
