Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, conducted an inspection visit to the premises of Menoufia Technological National University in Al-Rahab. He was accompanied by Prof. Hatem Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information and Supervisor of the University’s Preparations; Eng. Rabab El-Daly, Supervisor of Administrative and Organizational Affairs; and Mr. Mohamed Abu Sekeina, General Director of Administrative Affairs at Menoufia University. The visit comes as part of continuous follow-up on preparations for the university’s launch in the upcoming academic year and in support of advancing applied technological education within the governorate.
During the tour, the University President emphasized the strategic importance of the Technological National University as a new flagship project aimed at strengthening technical and technological education and aligning it with labor market demands. This initiative aligns with Egypt’s vision to enhance graduates’ skills and equip them to meet the requirements of local, regional, and international markets. He further noted that Menoufia Technological National University represents a qualitative milestone in the educational landscape of the governorate, forming part of the University’s broader efforts to support applied education, foster stronger links with industry, and deliver advanced university programs responsive to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and modern technological developments.
The inspection visit also focused on monitoring the progress of building preparations, facilities, and educational and technological services at the temporary headquarters in Al-Rahab Village during the first phase, pending completion of the new campus in Sadat City. Discussions included academic and operational plans, as well as mechanisms for accrediting academic programs, laboratories, and training facilities.
Prof. Ahmed El-Kased stated that the university will offer a range of specialized academic programs in vital technological fields, contributing to the preparation of qualified professionals capable of supporting industrial and technological development in Egypt. He stressed the importance of completing all logistical and administrative procedures within the designated timeline to ensure the successful launch of the academic year as scheduled.
The Supervisor of Preparations for Menoufia Technological National University confirmed that work is progressing according to an intensive timetable to finalize all technical and logistical arrangements at the site. He noted that teams are working around the clock to equip lecture halls, laboratories, and technological infrastructure with the latest specifications, ensuring a modern educational environment aligned with the standards of contemporary technological universities. He added that the university represents a qualitative shift in applied education within the governorate, with all preparations being carried out in accordance with the highest quality standards in anticipation of welcoming students at the beginning of the academic year.
