Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, along with Prof. Sobhy Sharaf, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, attended the closing ceremony of the Professional Sales Skills and Personal Branding program. The course was organized by the Community Service Sector within the framework of launching the “Entelaka” Initiative, which aims to empower youth, develop the skills of students and graduates, and prepare them for the labor market.

The program brought together students and graduates from the Faculties of Pharmacy, Science, Arts, Education, Media, and Artificial Intelligence. The closing session was also attended by Prof. Nasser Abdel Bari, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ghada Ali, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Eng. Ihab Hegazy, Regional Director of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency in Menoufia; while the course was delivered by Dr. Sherine Farouk Mohamed, a certified trainer at the University’s Public Service Center.

The University President emphasized that organizing such programs aligns with the University’s strategy to prepare qualified young professionals equipped with practical skills that enable them to compete in both local and regional labor markets. He stressed that the University’s mission goes beyond academic instruction to include shaping students’ character and strengthening their professional and personal competencies.

He further noted that the University remains committed to offering diverse training programs that respond to evolving labor market demands and create broader career prospects for students and graduates, thereby enhancing their employability. He affirmed that investing in youth skill development represents a fundamental pillar of sustainable development.

For his part, the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development highlighted the University’s strong commitment to capacity-building and to bridging the gap between academic study and practical application. He added that sales skills and personal branding have become essential components of professional success in today’s highly competitive environment, reaffirming the University’s dedication to providing specialized programs that prepare capable, productive graduates who effectively serve their communities.

The program addressed two main themes. The first focused on building personal identity, helping participants identify their professional profile, craft a clear and distinctive personal image, enhance communication and self-presentation skills, and align their identity with career objectives to increase their employment opportunities.

The second theme covered professional sales skills, including the foundations of effective selling, understanding customer needs, applying modern persuasion and negotiation techniques, managing objections and converting them into opportunities, and mastering professional deal-closing skills while maintaining credibility and trust.
