Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, has approved the results of the fourth-year students (May Session) at the Faculty of Engineering, Shebin El-Kom, for the 2025/2026 academic year. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and their families, wishing them continued success and distinction in their professional careers. He reaffirmed the University's unwavering commitment to advancing its educational system and preparing highly qualified engineers equipped with the academic knowledge and practical competencies required to meet the evolving demands of the labor market and contribute effectively to sustainable national development.
Prof. El-Kased stated that the outstanding results achieved across the University's faculties reflect the tireless efforts of faculty members, teaching assistants, and administrative staff. He emphasized that Menoufia University remains dedicated to providing a stimulating academic environment that fosters excellence, innovation, and creativity, while ensuring the graduation of competent professionals in accordance with the highest standards of academic quality and institutional excellence.
The University President further stressed that the Faculty of Engineering continues to enhance its academic curricula and laboratory facilities in line with the rapid advancements in engineering disciplines. These continuous development efforts strengthen the Faculty's academic standing and ensure that its graduates are well-prepared to compete successfully in local, regional, and international labor markets.
Meanwhile, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz Saafan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Shebin El-Kom, stated that the examination process, marking, and grade recording were completed with the utmost accuracy, transparency, and full compliance with the University's academic regulations. He noted that the entire process was closely supervised by Prof. Essam Helal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, who oversaw the smooth administration of the examinations, the control room procedures, and the announcement of the results. He congratulated the successful students and wished them every success in their future professional endeavors.
The Dean added that the overall pass rate for the fourth-year students reached 79.88%. Out of 495 regularly enrolled students, 492 sat for the examinations, and 393 students successfully passed.
The pass rates across the academic departments were as follows:
- Civil Engineering: 90.91%
- Mechanical Power Engineering: 87.70%
- Architectural Engineering: 87.33%
- Electrical Engineering: 83.78%
- Production and Mechanical Design Engineering: 78.89%
