Today, Dr. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, inspected the construction and finishing works of the new upper floors of the emergency hospital in the university hospitals, which consist of three floors. Emergency patients, and the president of the university inspected the place designated for establishing a multi-purpose cardiac catheterization on the third floor, within the framework of the expansions witnessed by university hospitals.

 

The President of the University directed the speedy completion of the finishing and equipping of the ramp roles and the exploitation of the parts that are successively completed in providing medical service to patients.

 

Dr. Ahmed El-Kased pointed out that the university hospitals at Menoufia University have witnessed many developments during the past year, as the intensive care unit for stroke patients was opened as the first specialized unit of its kind within the Menoufia governorate, with a capacity of six beds in the emergency and critical cases hospital building, and it is equipped at the highest level to receive Cases of stroke, brain hemorrhage, sclerosis of the brain arteries, and arterial aneurysm in the brain, referring to the uniqueness of Menoufia University hospitals in the availability of the Therapeutic Apheresis separation and washing unit, which is one of the distinguished units that serve a large number of adult and pediatric patients in Menoufia Governorate, and it consists of 4 Apheresis Machines It is one of the most modern medical devices in the world, and serves all internal departments of the hospital.
