Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, congratulated the faculty members at the National Liver Institute who won the elections for the Egyptian Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology. The elections resulted in Dr. Emad El-Shorbagy winning the seat of President of the Egyptian Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology, Dr. Hazem Omar winning the seat of Treasurer of the Society, and Dr. Mohamed Husseini, Head of the Radiology Department at the National Liver Institute, winning the seat on the Society's Board of Directors. The Society's Board of Directors now includes three faculty members from the National Liver Institute, and he wished them success in their work.

Prof. Ahmed El-Kased also emphasized that this achievement reflects the status of the National Liver Institute at the university and the appreciation it enjoys as a distinguished medical institution in the field of liver surgery, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as its role in serving the community and alleviating the suffering of patients.

The envoy also praised the vital role the institute plays in providing medical and therapeutic services to patients, both through outpatient clinics and specialized surgical procedures for liver transplantation, liver, biliary tract, pancreas, and gastrointestinal surgeries. He also praised the institute's institutional accreditation and the accreditation of the Liver Hospital from the General Authority for Accreditation and Healthcare Supervision.

Prof. Osama Hegazy, Dean of the Institute, congratulated the winning faculty members, emphasizing that this win reflects the academic clout and extensive experience of the institute's professors in this vital specialty and consolidates the National Liver Institute's position as a leading academic medical institution in Egypt and the Middle East.
