Prof. Ahmed El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, extended his congratulations to Prof. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), and the Council’s working team, on the occasion of the SCU obtaining four international ISO compliance certificates. Foremost among these are the ISO 37000:2021 Governance Standard and the ISO 30401:2018 Knowledge Management System, making it the first national institution in Egypt to receive these two certifications accredited by the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC).

Prof. El-Kased affirmed that this achievement represents a pioneering step that enhances the standing of Egyptian higher education at the regional and international levels, in alignment with the pillars of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Egypt’s Vision 2030. He added that this accomplishment comes in light of the directives of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to elevate the system of higher education and scientific research, support institutional development efforts, and apply quality and governance standards across Egyptian universities. President El-Sisi has placed great emphasis on strengthening the competitiveness of universities and transitioning toward a modern educational system based on innovation, knowledge management, and digital transformation, ensuring the graduation of human cadres capable of meeting the needs of both the local and international labor markets.

The President of Menoufia University also expressed his pride in this national achievement, which reflects the dedicated efforts exerted within the Supreme Council of Universities to advance the higher education system and apply the highest international standards in the management of academic institutions. He emphasized that these efforts align with global trends in governance, knowledge management, and digital transformation. Prof. El-Kased extended his sincere congratulations and appreciation to the SCU’s working team for their continued dedication to enhancing performance and meeting comprehensive quality standards.
