Prof. Ahmed Farag El-Kased, President of Menoufia University, received at his office Rev. Raafat Louka, representative of the Evangelical denomination in Menoufia Governorate and Pastor of the Evangelical Church in Shebin El-Kom and Berket El-Sabaa, accompanied by a delegation of church leaders, who visited to extend their congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of cordiality and affection, reflecting the values of brotherhood and tolerance that characterize Egyptian society. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Ghada Ali Hassan, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.
The University President welcomed the Evangelical Church delegation and expressed his appreciation for the visit, describing it as a reflection of the deep humanitarian and national bonds among the Egyptian people. He emphasized that religious occasions provide valuable opportunities to strengthen ties of affection and communication and to reinforce the values of citizenship and belonging, which constitute key pillars of Egypt’s strength and stability.
Prof. El-Kased affirmed that Egypt will continue to serve as a unique model of coexistence and solidarity among all its citizens, thanks to the strong national bonds that unite them and their long history of standing together in the face of challenges.
He added that the stability and achievements witnessed by the Egyptian state across various sectors are the result of the unity of its people and their support for the wise political leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic. He stressed that preserving this national spirit is a shared responsibility that requires continued cooperation and collective effort to advance the nation and fulfill the aspirations of future generations.
For his part, Rev. Raafat Louka and the accompanying delegation extended their sincere congratulations to the University President and all members of Menoufia University on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha. They prayed that this blessed occasion would return to Egypt and its people with continued goodness, security, and stability, and that the spirit of love and unity among all citizens would endure. They also praised the national and educational role played by Menoufia University in serving the community and promoting human development.
