Today, the Menoufia University Council session for the month of April 2022 was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Adel Mubarak, President of the University, and the presence of council members, Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development and member of the Council from abroad, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kased, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Nancy Asaad, Vice President for Education and Students, and Accountant Jalal Abdel Salam, Secretary General of the University and Deans of Faculties.

Mubarak began the session by congratulating President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, the armed forces and the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the celebration of the Sinai Liberation Day, wishing all the best, prosperity and prosperity to Egypt under its political leadership and valiant forces, and congratulating the Coptic brothers on the glorious Day of Resurrection and the holidays of Sham El-Nessim, and congratulations to the Islamic nation on the approaching arrival Eid Al-Fitr, may God bring it back to everyone with good, Yemen and blessings.

The President of the University began the agenda by briefing members on the most important activities and events that took place since the last session, the most important of which was the College of Engineering’s winning of third place in the activities of the fourth season of the EVER 2022 electric car rally held in Sharm El Sheikh, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and heads of participating universities, and the victory of the College of Pharmacy With the research project that aims to test preventive treatments against Alzheimer’s disease for the lead researcher Israa Muslim, funded by the STDF Funding Authority for Science, Technology and Innovation with an amount of 2,500.00 pounds, and the desire of the Fulbright Commission to visit Menoufia University to announce the programs offered by the Commission, the session of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, The selection committee for the Dean of the College of Nursing, the participation of the College of Agriculture in its celebration of the harvest day at the monk’s farm, the opening of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College of Arts, a visit to the Diocese of Menoufia Governorate to congratulate His Eminence Bishop Benjamin, Metropolitan of Menoufia and the Coptic brothers on the occasion of the Glorious Day of Resurrection, honoring His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al Hashemi, Religious Adviser to the Presidency of the UAE Arabic for the President of the University in a ceremony honoring prominent national symbols In various fields, and honoring the memorizers of the Noble Qur’an from the village of Sobek, Ashmoun Center.

During the session, Dr. Rania Azmy, Undersecretary of Dentistry and Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, presented a detailed report on the follow-up to the implementation of the main and subsidiary projects of the executive plan of the Menoufia University strategic plan 2020/2030 and the percentages of completion for each project according to the timetable specified in the plan.

Dr. Salwa Fouad, the university's general coordinator of expatriates, presented an evaluation of the colleges in terms of criteria for attracting and sponsoring expatriates and the activities organized by each college.

The president of the university stressed the colleges' readiness for the second semester exams and taking the necessary preventive and precautionary measures and general controls for conducting the exams.
